Job Description Equipment Setting Millwright Pay: $27-$31 HR/DOE | Location: Knoxville, TN | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits We're seeking experienced Equipment Setting Millwrights/Riggers with a strong background in the offloading, rigging, and precision setting of production equipment. Candidates should have hands-on experience working safely around forklifts, mobile cranes, and Versa-Lifts, and be comfortable assisting with the placement, alignment, and installation of heavy industrial machinery. Experience following rigging plans, maintaining safe lifting practices, and working as part of a machine installation crew is highly preferred.

Responsibilities Set, position, and align industrial machinery and production equipment Install, assemble, and anchor equipment according to blueprints and specifications Perform precision measurements using levels, lasers, and alignment tools Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans Move and position heavy machinery using rigging equipment, forklifts, cranes, and hoists Perform equipment adjustments and ensure proper alignment before startup Work safely while following OSHA standards and site-specific safety procedures Collaborate with project managers and other skilled trades to complete installations on schedule Qualifications Previous experience as an Equipment Setting Millwright or Industrial Millwright Experience with machinery installation and equipment setting Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Knowledge of rigging, precision alignment, and industrial equipment installation Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required What we offer: Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Short-term disability insurance All employees must have proper PPE hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses and work gloves.
