Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end and year-end close
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and in compliance with GAAP
  • Manage revenue recognition activities and assist in preparing financial reports for internal use
  • Review and code credit card transactions for proper general ledger classification
  • Oversee and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure internal controls are followed
  • Support external audit efforts by preparing required documentation and schedules
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements
  • Partner with the Controller on special projects and help streamline accounting processes

Qualifications:
