Overview:
Position Title* Software Engineer Mid-Level Position Responsibilities
Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Des (Need local only)
Duration : 6 months

Project:
  • Going to be supporting their corporate accounting and systems that they utilize as they go through a modernization
  • Be responsible for keeping current system business as usual
  • Support vendor systems and home-grown integrations

Technical Skills:
  • REQUIRED: Python, Java, GIT, AWS, SQL and API experience
  • Nice to have: informatica, JCL, and COBOL, DB experience, any experience with the oracle EPM suite

Soft skills:
  • Can jump between technology, be flexible, help team support tickets
  • Experience working in financial systems (Any sort of financial domain knowledge will be great)
  • Strong communication, really collaborative team
  • Not going to be able to spend a ton of time onboarding this person, so needs to be able to jump in right away
  • Knowing when they feel strong enough to make judgment calls, research and problem solve on their own

Team size:
  • 3 people onshore, 4 offshore people (mix of home office and India)
  • Bonus if this person has offshore working exp
  • Have a delivery manager in the home office, helps run ceremonies , and then a product manager as well

Skills:
