Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Cleared Technician to join our Strategic & Military Space Division. Join us in delivering advanced multi-domain solutions to protect national security and enable scientific discovery. Our expertise in satellites, sensors and instruments, ground systems and data processing, and autonomous systems plays a critical role in missions supporting the Department of Defense
The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Our division is a key component of national security, providing technological solutions and expert mission support. Become part of a team dedicated to making a tangible contribution to our nation's defense capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform integration and test activities on spacecraft hardware and support equipment
  • Interface with other disciplines (QA, machine shop, contamination control, etc.) to deliver spaceflight hardware on schedule
  • Occasional evening and weekend shifts

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and be SAP eligible
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Ability to see projects through from start to finish
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to identify and work through problems that may arise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with other team members for completion of required tasks

Desired Experience:
  • Applicable higher education or technical training
  • Assembly and test of small, intricate mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to support electrical integration and test activities as needed
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or with minimizing contamination during assembly
  • Experience with environmental testing including TVAC and vibration testing
  • Implementation of quality processes
