Shift: Â 1st Shift 6am - 2:30pm
Shift:Â 2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm | Shift Differential $0.40 hour
Shift: 3rd Shift 10pm - 6:30am | Shift Differential $0.50 hour
Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Finished Oil Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, handling, packaging, and documenting clarified citrus oils while ensuring product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
This is a union-represented position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
This position reports directly to the Oil Operations Supervisor.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor clarified oil processing systems for lemon, orange, tangerine, and grapefruit oils.
Process, transfer, package, and prepare citrus oils for shipment while maintaining product integrity and quality.
Accurately weigh, label, and document finished oil batches and drum inventory.
Inspect drums and equipment prior to use and report any defects or quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production records within company operating systems.
Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation procedures, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes.
Operate processing equipment used in the production of folded oils and filtration systems.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials and waste in accordance with company procedures.
Monitor product quality and communicate any non-conforming conditions to supervision.
Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills, including multiplication, division, fractions, ratios, and percentages.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written procedures and accurately complete documentation.
Manufacturing, food processing, or production experience preferred.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, humidity, and processing materials.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other production equipment.
Ability to climb ladders and wear respiratory protection when required.
