Job description

Seeking an experience Accounts Payable Specialist in Brighton. This position is fully onsite. Pay up to $27/hr depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment in Microsoft Dynamics
•Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks.
•Distributes signed checks as required.
•Answers all vendor inquiries.
•Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
•Assists Controller and division personnel as necessary.
•Prepares cleared checks for storage.
•Assists in monthly closings.
•Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
•Performs filing and coping.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Must meet the following to be considered:
•3+ years of accounts payable and problem solving in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
•Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
•Quantity—meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in similar high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience with invoice coding, account coding, ACH processing, and check run coordination.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP or comparable accounting software used for accounts payable operations.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, analyze information carefully, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a consistent focus on producing thorough and reliable work.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, maintain productivity, and work effectively in a fully onsite setting.
