Chicago, IL | Hybrid
Salary: $250,000 - $365,000+

A growing national law firm is seeking a Project Finance & Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated project development, project finance, renewable energy, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex transactional matters for a national client base.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active Illinois bar admission or ability to become admitted in Illinois

  • Approximately 3-6 years of project finance, M&A, corporate, energy, or infrastructure transaction experience

  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents

  • Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Excellent academic credentials

What You'll Do
  • Represent clients in project finance, renewable energy, and infrastructure transactions

  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions

  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, and related transaction agreements

  • Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction structuring

  • Coordinate with lenders, developers, investors, and business stakeholders

  • Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on sophisticated transactional matters
