Job description

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the position is to support acquisition growth through financial analysis and modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration activities within the Corporate Development (Mergers & Acquisitions) team.

This is a remote or hybrid position with the flexibility to work in our Folsom, CA office or in our Addison, TX office.

This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position and has the flexibility to work in one of our Folsom, CA or Addison, Texas offices.

The base salary range is $100,00-$110,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review diligence data for potential acquisitions and prepare valuation analyses through the building of proforma P&Ls, including evaluating any open items required to complete analyses
  • Prepare transaction due diligence packages for Board approval of the transaction
  • Prepare presentation packages on M&A opportunities and closed/won transactions for Board meetings
  • Develop presentation material and other key transaction-related documentation, such as Letters of Intent and Purchase Agreement disclosures, to support corporate development activities
  • Manage diligence data room to ensure timely review of data provided by potential partners
  • Support post-merger tracking to ensure deal value is realized
  • Monitor and report to senior leadership on the status of corporate development opportunities being pursued
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes, improve efficiency, and leverage technology to reduce manual work
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and operational analysis and reports as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Corporate Development (M&A), Strategic Finance, Consulting, Auditing, Operations, Investment Banking, or similar environment working as a data analyst or a financial analyst
  • Experience working with private equity-backed firms a plus
  • Process-oriented and highly organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT)
