Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney

Top Tier National Law Firm, elite team of M&A lawyers! Work on some of the most exciting transactions on the planet with cutting-edge companies in the technology and life sciences space. As a lead associate, you will have 6-8 years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience, particularly in one or more of the areas of public and private company mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Ideally, you would also have experience drafting definitive transaction agreements, leading the M&A team and supervising more junior M&A associates, and leading negotiations with transaction counterparties. This role is not general corporate, and you would be a full-time M&A associate.

Preferred candidates would have experience as a lead associate on M&A transactions, with experience drafting definitive transaction agreements and leading all other aspects of a strategic transaction, including leading the M&A team and supervising more junior M&A associates, coordinating with subject matter experts, and assisting to manage the client relationship and lead negotiations with transaction counterparties.

Superior academic credentials and/or law firm experience and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.

Successful candidates may sit in New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle.

Note that this is not a general corporate role and a successful candidate would be a full-time M&A associate.
