POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an M&A professional at the Analyst through Manager level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, project and people management, and a keen interest in growing their knowledge and skillset. This role will involve deal sourcing, due diligence, and support for M&A transactions and strategic initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and execute outreach to potential sellers and M&A intermediaries
  • Perform due diligence, including reviewing financial statements, managing data rooms, monitoring request lists, reviewing and assessing M&A deliverables for fit, and identifying key value drivers
  • Support the execution of transactions by coordinating with internal teams, accounting advisors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
  • Assist in executing special project growth initiatives (operations analytics/dashboarding, big data, process improvement, etc)
  • Assist in creating internal and external M&A reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including brokers and advisors
  • Monitor industry developments and emerging trends to inform strategic planning and investment strategies

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position will report to the Head of M&A and will execute the best-in-class end-to-end acquisitions process to build durable partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in transaction advisory accounting, financial due diligence, investment banking, private equity, or mergers & acquisitions
  • Manage sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong aptitude to work within deadlines
  • Integrity, honesty, and responsibility, with a desire to contribute to a team
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
