You bring strong experience in labor relations, HR operations, and country HR leadership, combined with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders in a complex matrix environment.
Your Role: - Senior HR leader for the United States within the Electronics business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany and member of the Electronics HR Leadership Team.
- Lead the HR agenda for an organization of approximately 2,000 employees in the US and manage a team of 5 direct reports.
- Drive the country people agenda across organization effectiveness, workforce planning, talent, succession, leadership development, employee relations, and change management.
- Act as strategic HR partner to senior leaders in the US, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities, country needs, and people strategies.
- Hold a double-hat role as Global HR Business Partner for one Semiconductor Business Unit, reporting in this capacity to the Head of HR Semi Solutions.
- Operate effectively in a matrix environment, balancing country HR leadership responsibilities with global business HRBP accountabilities.
- Use data, business insight, and external perspective to shape people decisions and position the organization for future needs
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required with minimum 8 years of relevant HRBP experience
- Experience in HR operations and/or a Global HRBP role in a fast-changing and matrix environment is required, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
- Proven experience leading an HR team and driving the people agenda for a sizeable country or regional organization.
- Proven experience as a strategic HR partner on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development, and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a complex matrix structure, balancing country leadership and global business HRBP responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the US business, people environment and labor laws
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution skills in a high-change business setting.
Location: One of EMD Electronics hub cities in the USA (Allentown, PA, Tempe or Chandler, AZ); Hybrid
Travel:
Pay range for this position: $177,600.00 - $266,400.00
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
