Position Summary:
Looking for experienced line cook to work at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe in Durham, a made-from-scratch restaurant on the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings. This role involves preparing, cooking, and plating various dishes, adhering to our established recipes and standards. The Line Cook works in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with fellow team members to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
    • Execute daily prep work, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
    • Cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, using appropriate cooking techniques, temperatures, and presentation standards.
    • Monitor and maintain quality control, ensuring the taste, texture, and appearance of dishes meet the restaurant's high standards.
  2. Station Organization and Cleanliness:
