Looking for a career change or looking to get your career started?  Affinity recruiting is looking to fill entry-level 1st shift manufacturing positions here in the Syracuse, NY location. 

 

$15.50 - $17.25 per hour (depending on experience)

Full-Time positions, 40 hours a week, M-F schedule, 6am – 2:30pm!


The Job:

  • Transport molten metal in ladle from Melt Department to Pouring area

  •  Pour molten metal from ladle to molds in various locations

  • Lift ladle by air hoist to and pour the metal

  • Use care to pour a proper rate and temperature

  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition acceptable to safety standards

  • Furnace and ladle repair

  • Verify alloy specifications

  • Keep furnaces full

  • Safely and thoroughly clean furnace and ladles

  • Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned


Ideal candidate:

  • Okay with routinely lifting 30-50lbs

  • Okay working in a hot and dirty environment.

  • Can be dependable to show up and do a great job!

  • Someone looking for a career and eager to learn!
