Job description

Part time produce.  Job will mostly consist of cutting fruit, packaging and labeling the packages.  Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Produce Clerk

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for maintaining the produce department and offering support to the Produce department manager.  

Job Duties include but is not limited to:

        Provide customer service by assisting customers with any produce orders such as fruit trays.

        Filling orders for future pick-up dates on a timely basis

        May be required to build displays as requested by management

        Make sure the department is stocked with fresh product

        Could be asked to complete some light cleaning and sanitizing within the department

        Cut and make fresh pre-packaged fruit bowls

        Properly handle and place inventory as it is delivered to the store

        Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

        Must be able to safely handle raw products

        Must be able to cut fresh produce

        Must be able to be on their feet for an extended period of time
