Job description

The primary job responsibility for the Medication Reconciliation Technician is to obtain medication histories for assigned patients. This information will be used by health care providers to determine treatment plans and medication orders during and following the hospital stay.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
§ High School diploma or equivalent
§ Licensure or Certification Requirements: National Pharmacy Technician Certification required. Must maintain applicable Board of Pharmacy registration/licensure as Pharmacy technician in the State of Ohio
§ Previous Pharmacy Technician experience, two years Retail pharmacy experience preferred
§ Proficient in typing and computer experience
§ Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
§ Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions simultaneously.
