Assistant Manager - Skin Spa New York

Skin Spa New York (www.skinspanewyork.com) is a specialty skincare and laser spa brand with multiple locations across NYC, Boston, and Miami. Since 2005, we have provided a full range of skincare services, laser treatments, and advanced medical spa procedures, including injectables.
We are seeking motivated, passionate individuals for an Assistant Manager role who are looking to build long-term careers within the medical spa industry. As an established lifestyle and medical aesthetics brand, this position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, client-focused environment while supporting daily operations, team performance, and an exceptional client experience across our skincare, laser, and advanced esthetics services.
This role requires a high degree of independence, strong sales proficiency, and the ability to maintain accountability, motivation, and consistency in delivering an elevated client experience.

Requirements:

  • Impeccable Customer Service and Communication Skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a medical spa setting with a solid understanding of aesthetics services and products and a demonstrated passion for the industry.
  • Experience with appointment booking software (Boulevard, Booker, MindBody, etc.).
  • Experience in retail operations, cashier duties, and cash handling.
  • Clean and refined appearance.
  • Punctual and Reliable.
  • Team player with leadership capabilities.
  • Available for a full-time schedule inclusive of a weekend day.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist in managing and overseeing the daily operations of a location within the brand. 
  • Driving sales and promotions to meet daily and monthly sales goals and expectations.
  • Booking and confirming appointments; Monitoring and maximizing daily schedules and staffing.
  • Assist in responding to all incoming client-related communications and follow-up calls. 
  • Resolving client concerns in a professional manner with insight and poise.
  • Directing clients during the check-in and check-out process.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Build, support, and maintain a strong positive workplace culture.
  • Review Feedback, monitor and respond to surveys and reviews. 
  • Assist in networking and clienteling.
  • Ability to step in manager role if needed, as well as handling administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll and reporting.
  • Enforce and maintain protocols and performance goals. 
  • Maintain clean and safe spa environment.
  • Handling multi-line phone system.
  • Handle various assignments simultaneously.

Pay Description:
  • Pay commensurate with experience
  • $20/hour PLUS Sales and Bonus Commissions
