Medical Records Coordinator

Assume responsibility and accountability for medical record management

Prep, analyze, and account for all medical records

Complete and coordinate theย follow-upย of delinquent records

Organize and conduct Medical Record Committee meetings

Prepare statistical reports as directed

ย Experience/ Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Recent successful completion of a college level coding course requiredย ORย at least one year experience coding in healthcare or Health Information Management Department required

Knowledge of medical terminology and coding regulations required

Requires working knowledge of basic office equipment including computers

Accuracy, precision, and attention to detail are essential
