Position Overview
The Technical Program Manager, New Product Development leads cross-functional execution of new product development programs supporting Fleet's data center infrastructure products. This role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations to drive products from concept through design, validation, launch, and production.
The successful candidate will own integrated program plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and ready for manufacturing and deployment. This role requires a highly organized technical leader capable of driving execution across internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end execution of new product development programs from concept through production.
  • Develop and manage integrated schedules, milestones, critical paths, risks, and dependencies.
  • Drive cross-functional program reviews, status reporting, action tracking, and executive updates.

Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations to align priorities and deliverables.
  • Facilitate technical tradeoff discussions balancing performance, manufacturability, cost, schedule, and deployment readiness.
  • Ensure teams remain aligned, accountable, and focused on program objectives.

Product Launch & Manufacturing Readiness
  • Support NPD/NPI activities from design through production ramp.
  • Coordinate readiness across engineering releases, sourcing, tooling, testing, documentation, manufacturing, and supplier readiness.
  • Track and resolve issues impacting launch, quality, schedule, or cost.

Risk & Stakeholder Management
  • Proactively identify program risks, resource constraints, and execution gaps while driving mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate suppliers, OEMs, and manufacturing partners to maintain program schedules.
  • Communicate program health, key decisions, risks, and milestones to technical teams and executive leadership.

Process Improvement
  • Maintain core program documentation including schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, and launch checklists.
  • Help improve program management processes, cross-functional execution, and launch discipline across the organization.

  • Strong understanding of NPD, NPI, validation, change control, and production ramp processes.
  • Experience managing integrated schedules, risk registers, and executive reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data center infrastructure, critical facilities, thermal or electrical systems, or related industrial products.
  • Experience with PLM, ERP/MRP, and engineering document control systems.
  • Experience working with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and global suppliers.
  • PMP, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred.

$150,000-$200,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus.
