The Medical Records Clerk assembles and maintains patients' health information in medical records and charts. The Medical Records Clerk performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will report to Referrals supervisor at the Centerwell Clinic.
The Medical Records Clerk manages patient records, ensuring the Medical Records Clerk correctly identifies all forms. Enter information into systems, communicate with staff to clarify details, may assign codes to diagnoses and procedures. You will be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

Required Qualifications
  • You will have 3 years working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical skills
  • You will be proficient in all office products.
  • You will be part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires you to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
  • You will be able quickly learn new systems
  • You can travel locally (potentially overnight occasionally)

Ideal Candidate
  • You will have an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • You will have previous healthcare or health insurance experience
  • You will be familiar with medical terminology and ICD-9 codes
