ASRC Federal Netcentric Technology, LLC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract for the US Air Force in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will manage activities contributing to the successful execution of the Emergency Management Services and be responsible for maintaining and coordinating routine and exceptional deliverables for the KEOS team. This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated office management expertise, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to learn and accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that ensure program success. Key attributes include initiative as well as critical thinking to identify and prioritize actions to assist the program managers to be successful in achieving program goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Emergency Management program office management activities including schedules, meetings, correspondence, travel arrangements, records management, and other office duties as assigned.
  • Performs secretarial, administrative and general office work, including preparing correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, presentations, other documents and ordering office supplies.
  • Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings and events, manages designated conference rooms and makes travel arrangements.
  • Performs duties related to reviewing / tracking documents, plans, and USG publications.
  • Uses excellent customer service skills in interactions with members, employees and the public.
  • May assist with budget and expense processing; manage basic budgeting documents.
  • Maintains policies and manage records.
  • Coordinate the work of others.
  • Provides project coordination on leadership level projects and activities.
  • Communicates and/or coordinates leader's instructions to others.
  • May be responsible for database coordination, including data entry and production of regular and adhoc reports.
  • Will be expected to be knowledgeable of department specific activities and to provide operational support in areas of assignment.
  • May be a designated program credit card holder and the reconciliation requirements for transactions.
  • Process and securely handle controlled and classified correspondence and documents.
  • Assist with coordination of onboarding contractor staff.
  • Supports USG Command and Control Centers as required.
  • May be required to pickup mail for the Division and distribute to central mailboxes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a secretarial position.
  • Possesses knowledge and skills of PC applications to include but not limited to:
    • Microsoft Office 365 applications with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, TEAMS, and Share Point).
    • Record storage and maintenance.
    • Document management.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to resolve issues in a manner that promotes program goals.
  • Demonstrated persistence in following-through on action items and open issues to full closure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing correspondence, briefings, and program plans for senior managers.
  • Be a US citizen and have and maintain a valid US driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government-issued security clearance.
  • Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Notary Public Commission.
  • Experience working in Department of Defense or other government environment.
  • Proficiency in government business systems and basic systems for program support.
