About this Position: 

The Media Supervisor leads local media planning and emerging media strategy for larger local markets for our client the Lexus Dealer Association (LDA). The Supervisor manages plan development across traditional and digital channels and ensures alignment with client objectives. They're expected to be proactive market experts, leveraging tools like Nielsen, ComScore, and IHS. They identify innovative media opportunities, anticipates client needs, and ensures high-quality execution and team development. This role includes regional travel for client meetings / presentations and agency initiatives.

What You'll Do: 

Develop and present media plans across multiple large markets 

Supervise and support the planning team in developing strategic, well-informed media recommendations 

Delegate tasks and follow up with Media Planners (MPs), Assistant Media Planners (AMPs), and agency partners to ensure timely project completion

Execute responsibilities for assigned markets including but not limited to: 

  • Issuing Goal entries and Buy Authorizations for local buys 
  • Approving Spot Buys for accuracy based on guidelines provided 
  • Creating and maintaining flowcharts and budgets 
  • Performing budget and billing reconciliations 
  • Resolving financial discrepancies 
  • Developing Heavy Up/Cut recommendations 

Maintain digital buys and compile/analyze metrics reports 

Ensure accuracy and timely updates of the Master Planning Sheets 

Maintain regular communication with senior team members about project updates and deadlines 

Lead the flow of information between the LDA Media Team, LDA Account/Field teams, and external media agencies 

Ensure accurate financial accountability and ongoing maintenance of assigned market media plans 

Develop POVs on a variety of media opportunities and provide strategic guidance to Assistants and Planners 

Foster and maintain strong relationships with the media community 

Create and deliver client presentations for dealer meetings using PowerPoint or other presentation tools 

Travel as needed to support client and agency meetings and initiatives

What You Bring: 

A Bachelor's degree 

At least 5+ years of agency or other media related experience (including cross-discipline experience in broadcast, digital, print, and OOH) 

Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MediaOcean (OX), Mediatools/Guideline, Prisma, CMR, IMS and MRI/Simmons 

Experience presenting to clients in person 

Strong communication skills and ability communicate confidently with clients, vendors, media buyers, and internal stakeholders 

Experience managing and delegating tasks to junior team members 

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
