Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid 3 days per Week)

Ornua is actively seeking an Integrated Media Manager to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in shaping the future of holistic media planning and activation for the Kerrygold brand across national, retailer and eCommerce media.
WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The Integrated Media Manager is a strategic, media-forward marketer who plays a central role in shaping and executing the brand's go-to-market approach. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing- Connected Commerce and supports the development of integrated strategies with a strong emphasis on media planning, investment, and performance across national and retailer channels.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in media strategy and execution, with the ability to guide agency partners and continuously evolve how the brand shows up in market. They will collaborate cross-functionally across creative, digital, eCommerce, and sales to deliver seamless, full-funnel activations that drives both brand and commerce results.
This individual is a data-driven thinker and strong agency leader, able to translate business objectives into high-impact media plans and actionable execution while continuously optimizing performance and advancing marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communications Strategy & Planning
  • Support Marketing team to develop and execute the integrated communications strategy.
  • Translate strategic priorities into cohesive, channel-appropriate plans across paid, owned, earned and shared media.
  • Partner closely with global teams to implement best-practice planning frameworks and ensure strong internal alignment in local market.
  • Ensure all plans are insight-driven, audience-first, and designed to deliver measurable business impact.

2. Media Strategy & Execution
  • Lead development of integrated media strategies across national and retailer media, ensuring alignment to brand and commercial objectives.
  • Guide agency partners on media planning, investment allocation, and channel mix to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive excellence in retailer media, ensuring strong alignment between media, content, and commerce.
  • Continuously evolve go-to-market approaches based on performance data, channel innovation, and emerging consumer behaviors and LLM signals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with eCommerce, Sales and the broader marketing team to ensure media strategies support conversion and retail priorities.
  • Drive smarter media buying through AI-powered optimization, leveraging automation and machine learning to improve performance, efficiency, and speed.

3. Agency & Vendor Management
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for media and creative agencies, ensuring clear direction, strong collaboration, and high-quality output.
  • Develop clear, actionable briefs for media planning and campaign execution.
  • Hold agency partners accountable for delivering integrated, insight-led plans that align to strategic objectives.
  • Foster a test-and-learn mindset, encouraging innovation and continuous optimization.

4. Strategic Partnerships, Collaborations and Events
  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities across platforms, brands, publishers, and creators that can enhance reach and relevance.
  • Manage ongoing partner relationships, ensuring alignment to brand values and business goals.

5. Digital, Social & Search Integration
  • Ensure media plans are optimized for digital excellence, including social, search (SEO/AEO), and emerging platforms.
  • Work with Social and Creative teams to ensure consistency in messaging, creative quality, and channel fit across all paid media touchpoints.
  • Up-level search by working with agency partners to apply best practices and consistently evolve.
  • Lead the shift toward AI-first search and discovery, ensuring the brand is optimized for inclusion in LLM-powered and generative search experiences.

6. Insights & Performance
  • Analyze performance across media channels, synthesizing insights to inform optimization and future planning.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Champion a measurement-first mindset, including test design, learning agendas, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on media trends, platform evolution, and competitive activity to inform strategy.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in media, integrated marketing, brand management, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on experience in media strategy and execution, including national media and retailer media ecosystems.
  • Proven experience managing and guiding media agencies to deliver high-impact, integrated plans.
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel media, including awareness, consideration, and conversion tactics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with eCommerce, sales, creative and shopper marketing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with ability to influence across stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for brand building, storytelling, and staying ahead of media and cultural trends.

PAY RANGE: $130,000 - $159,000
This range represents the overall market pay rate for candidates who meet the necessary qualifications and experience requirements for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and performance.
