Job description

The Mechanical Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, specifically Heat Sealers for the Packaging Industry, ensuring smooth operation across systems. As a single technician role reporting to senior management, this position offers opportunities for growth through cross-training and specialization in specific mechanical systems. The role may require occasional travel and emphasizes safety compliance and quality performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bag sealer assembly and equipment maintenance along with mechanical repairs
  • Monitor inventory of needed components
  • Troubleshoot system issues to identify and resolve faults
  • Support assembly processes and ensure proper tool management
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards
