Job description

Immediate Opening – 2-Week Temporary Position

Aqua Pro Pump Systems and Advanced Mechanical Technologies are seeking a Temporary Mechanical Assembly Technician to assist our fabrication team with building commercial pump systems and electrical control panels.

This is a hands-on position working directly with a master fabricator assembling custom water booster systems, and UL control panels.

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and have experience using hand tools, we'd like to hear from you.

This position is expected to last approximately two weeks, with the possibility of additional work for outstanding performers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in assembling commercial pump systems and control panels
  • Assemble pumps, motors, valves, piping, and related components
  • Measure, drill, cut, and assemble mechanical components
  • Assist with basic electrical assembly and wire routing
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools
  • Follow assembly drawings and work instructions
  • Organize materials and maintain a clean work area
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing materials
  • Support testing and shipment preparation of completed equipment
  • Perform other shop duties as assigned Qualifications

Required

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Comfortable using hand tools
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand and work throughout the day

Preferred

  • Industrial maintenance

  • Control panel assembly

No pump industry experience is required. We are willing to train someone with solid mechanical aptitude.
