Job description

Provide excellent customer service by making meat cuts look professional, rotating and filling the meat case, and maintaining good hygiene and clean work area.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Examples Of Work Performed:

• Must be able to cut all meats.
• Cleans up meat dept.
• Takes care of meat counters.
• Helps train other personnel in the dept.
• Friendly personality.
• Positive Attitude.
• Check for out of date or damaged product.
• Follows safety procedures.
• Uses care in handling products.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Follows security procedures.
• Observes and replaces substandard products.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.
• Assists on the frontend to help bag and carryout groceries to customers' vehicle.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility: None.
Work Environment:
The associate is required to work in cool environment handling raw fresh meat. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Will be using a saw, knife, grinder and slicer regularly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to treat each customer with respect and in a friendly manner.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
