Job description

MEAT CLERK:  Customer Service Clerk working in the Meat Section.  This person's primary duties include providing direct customer service, receiving, pricing, merchandising, stocking, consumer education, suggestive selling, rotation, cooler organization, housekeeping, and sanitation.  Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.

  1. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 20-30hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
  2. Previous Work Experience: Familiarity With Meat Merchandise Preferred, But not required.
  3. Physical Demands: Repetitive Lifting To 50#; Occasional Lifting To 80#.

Other Work Considerations: Customer Relations; Able To Work With Minimal Supervision; Genuine Interest In Meat and Seafood Merchandise; Reliable, Dependable.
