Job description

Producers Midstream Management LLC is a private equity back midstream service provider based in Dallas, TX.

This Measurement Technician is responsible for the operation of compressors, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines and other related gas processing equipment in a safe and reliable manner. This position ensures the cost effective and efficient operation of gas processing and treating units and associated equipment within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed but not limited to the following:
  • Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Have a working knowledge with Emerson ROC, ABB, Corilois Meters, V-Cone, Thermal Mass meters and Spectra Sensor Analyzers.
  • Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
  • Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
  • Assist in Field Gathering/Plant Measurement Balancing across the System
  • Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment.
  • Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency.
  • Must live within 60 - 65 miles of reporting location to accommodate call outs.
  • Respond to call outs no later than 2 hours from the time the call was sent.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment.
  • Demonstrated self- starter with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, shift rotations, and perform call outs.
  • Must be able to react to high stress/emergency situations in a deliberate, thoughtful, and timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and perform operation and maintenance tasks associated with various types of facilities and equipment.
  • Proficiency with computers including MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook as well as other computer-based work training, time reporting, expense reporting, and on-line work applications and documentation.
