Salary Range: $62,500 - $86,193 annually
Position Overview:
The Math Interventionist provides targeted mathematics instruction to students in grades K-8 who need additional support in developing math comprehension skills. This role requires expertise in Math intervention strategies, collaboration with classroom teachers, and a commitment to student growth and school success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver focused math intervention instruction for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
  • Apply research-based strategies to support student progress in conceptual understanding, procedural fluency and accuracy, and application of mathematics skills.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core instruction.
  • Work with small groups of students to provide individualized and differentiated instruction.
  • Assist in identifying students for intervention and help schedule and assign them to appropriate groups.
  • Monitor student progress and use assessment data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom management to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively using oral and written language.
  • Design and implement lessons that accommodate diverse learning needs, styles, and backgrounds.
  • Support the mission, values, and curriculum of the school.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Valid teaching license preferred.
  • Prior experience as a math interventionist or related instructional role preferred.

Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of foundational mathematics concepts and skill development, Colorado Academic Standards, and intervention best practices
  • Ability to analyze assessment data to guide instruction
  • Effective collaboration and communication with teachers, students, and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Work Environment:
  • School-based setting with regular interaction with students, staff, and families.
  • Occasional evening meetings and events may be required.
