Job description

Based in Berkeley, CA, we are a nationally recognized plaintiffs' law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Mass Tort department is expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Mass Torts Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated pharmaceutical medical device and products liability matters nationwide. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values complex litigation client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to complex mass tort pharmaceutical medical device and products liability matters
  • Draft pleadings motions discovery requests briefing and related litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency
  • Represent clients in depositions hearings mediations and other mass tort proceedings including MDL and coordinated state court litigation
  • Manage an assigned caseload while collaborating with leadership counsel on complex multi-district litigation and high-exposure matters


Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active California Bar license in good standing
  • 4+ years of mass torts experience with demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical medical device or products liability litigation
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms case management systems and electronic document platforms preferred
