Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Tanis Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Position Summary:
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy and driving revenue growth for a Marriott-branded hotel. This role oversees all sales segments, including group, corporate, and transient business, while ensuring alignment with l brand standards and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals across all market segments
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded
Identify and secure new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, key accounts, and industry partners
Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies, occupancy, and RevPAR
Work closely with operations to ensure seamless execution of group events and client satisfaction
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local demand generators
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Ensure compliance with brand standards, systems, and reporting requirements
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
