Hiring for a Recruiter / HR Coordinator in Hastings, MN

About the Role ✨

We are seeking an energetic Recruiter / HR Coordinator who brings energy to the team and champions our office culture! This person will support day‑to‑day recruiting efforts and help deliver a positive employee experience across a large, multi‑entity organization. This role plays a key part in recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration.

  • 🕗 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with 1‑hour lunch or 8:30am-5:00pm with 30‑minute lunch (flexibility available)
  • 📍 Location: 100% in‑office in Hastings, MN
  • 📝 Type: Temp‑to‑hire on permanent
  • 💵 Pay: $26-$29/hr, depending on experience level + full benefits

Key Responsibilities ✅

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR‑related questions and requests
  • Support recruiting efforts, including job postings (Indeed) and screening resumes
  • Conduct phone interviews and schedule and conduct second‑round in‑person interviews
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the interview process
  • Coordinate new‑hire onboarding to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases

Qualifications 🎓

  • 1+ years of recruiting experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience with Workday is a plus (training available)
  • Working knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
