Job description

TheHuman Resources Consultant serves as a subject matter expert in employeerelations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), and compliance functions for theUniversity of North Carolina System Office and its affiliates. This roleprovides consultation, case management, and compliance oversight to ensurealignment with federal and state laws, UNC policies, and best practices.
Keyresponsibilities include:
Providing consultation to managers, employees, and campuses on employee relations matters.
Managing and tracking employee relations cases and ensuring appropriate documentation.
Supporting grievance processes, including review and coordination of Final University Decisions (FUDs).
Leading compliance-related reporting and EEO initiatives.
Developing and maintaining employee relations resources and tools.
Ensuring adherence to employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Serving as a liaison with OSHR, OFCCP, and other governing entities.
Whilethis position is primarily focused on employee relations, EEO, and compliancefunctions, it may also provide oversight, coordination, or limited supervisorysupport to other HR team members or functional areas as needed to supportoperational priorities.Â
