Job description

The Field Marketing Manager at Gold's Gym will lead field marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and drive engagement within local communities. This role will oversee the development and implementation of local marketing plans, collaborating closely with GM's, District Managers, and the Gold's Gym Marketing Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Gold's Gym by leveraging your marketing expertise and passion for fostering community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for corporate-owned Gold's Gyms, focusing on increasing brand awareness and driving traffic.
  • Support the implementation of company-owned specific marketing programs regarding, but not limited to, project ownership; distribution of program. communication; curation of creative materials, development, review and routing of program results tracking; and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Concept, implement, pilot and evaluate new programs for potential systemwide implementation.
  • Foster targeted interactions with local communities to promote Gold's Gym locations and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with field operators to develop region-specific marketing strategies aligned with sales goals.
  • Mobilize and motivate internal and external teams to bring corporate and brand business objectives to life while ensuring collaboration, communication, trust, efficiency and quality of the work.
  • Plan and execute integrated field campaigns utilizing various channels, including email, direct mail, digital, and others as deemed appropriate.
  • Support location-specific marketing programs, including fundraisers, sponsorships, community outreach, trade deals, and events.
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, manage vendors, and oversee marketing collateral.
  • Manage and track spending of the local portion of the marketing budget
  • Monitor performance through analysis of key metrics and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the marketing plans for new gym presales, grand openings, and location remodels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field, with 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience.Regional/national multi-unit chain experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading.
  • Proficiency in various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, email, and traditional marketing.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently drive projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • High level of creativity.
  • Travel required, approximately 30-40%.
