What does a marketing collateral manager do?

A Marketing Collateral Manager is responsible for overseeing the creation, organization, and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, sales sheets, and digital assets. They ensure that all collateral is consistent with the brand's messaging and meets the needs of various departments, including sales and product teams. This role often involves collaborating with designers, writers, and external vendors to produce high-quality materials that support marketing campaigns and business objectives. Additionally, Marketing Collateral Managers monitor inventory, update materials as needed, and ensure all content is accurate and up to date.

How does a marketing collateral manager typically collaborate with creative and sales teams?

A Marketing Collateral Manager works closely with both creative and sales teams to ensure that all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and effectively support sales objectives. They often act as a bridge, translating sales needs into creative briefs and providing feedback to designers to refine materials. Regular meetings and collaborative project management tools are commonly used to maintain alignment on messaging, deadlines, and quality standards. This cross-functional collaboration helps ensure that collateral is both visually engaging and strategically effective.
