Job description

Summary of Job:

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to help us deepen and scale how we engage customers across their lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who has spent at least 3 years building and managing marketing automation inside an organization (not just at an agency), and who is confident owning platforms, building journeys, and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
This position reports to our Director of Marketing & Communications but you'll work closely with Business Intelligence, IT, and Marketing stakeholders to design, build, and optimize customer journeys that are powered by data and aligned to business outcomes. While you'll be part of a collaborative marketing team, much of your work will be self-directed. This role requires someone who can jump in and begin building segments, journeys, and automations immediately.
This role needs someone who is passionate about serving customers well and ensuring their customer experience is above and beyond anyone else in our industry. Experience with Microsoft Customer Insights and Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plus, but candidates with comparable CRM and automation platform experience are encouraged to apply.

Education and Experience:
Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing marketing automation inside an organization.
  • Proven experience creating customer journeys, audience segmentation, and automated workflows.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and data-driven engagement strategies.
  • Comfort working autonomously and owning complex initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and analytical teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Customer Insights and/or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with similar CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Adobe, etc.).
  • Familiarity with working alongside BI or analytics teams to activate customer data.
  • Experience in B2C, home services, or multi-location service organizations.

Skills and Abilities:

Marketing Automation & CRM Skills
  • Hands-on experience building and managing marketing automation programs within a CRM or customer data platform.
  • Strong ability to create and maintain customer segments using behavioral, transactional, and profile data.
  • Experience designing and executing automated customer journeys across channels such as email, SMS, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle marketing concepts (e.g., acquisition, onboarding, retention, reengagement).
  • Experience with Microsoft Customer Insights, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of data hygiene, consent, and compliance best practices in automated marketing.
