Job description

Our client, a growing industrial solutions provider is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to develop and support engineered fluid system solutions for customers across energy, manufacturing, chemical, and industrial markets. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and designing practical solutions that meet customer requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, sales teams, fabrication personnel, and operations in a fast-paced project environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design fluid system solutions and select products based on customer and application requirements.
  • Interpret P&IDs, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare quotes, drawings, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, fabrication, and operations teams to deliver practical solutions.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication and project execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in applications engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing support, or a similar industrial environment.
  • 2+ years of professional SolidWorks experience required.
  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial process industries preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
