Job description

3MD Inc. dba Denali Advanced Integration seeks a qualified full-time Automation Applications Engineer in Fort Wayne, IN to install, maintain and troubleshoot automation systems using machine and computer vision technologies. Duties will include research, design, development, and testing of robotic applications; and collaborating directly with clients to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of automated solutions. The Automation Applications Engineer will provide support to the Automation Engineering team.


This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 3 years of experience in each of the following:


  • Design, installation and configuration of automation systems using machine vision technologies and integrating AWS Machine Learning or similar platforms.
  • Maintenance and repair of automation equipment including machine vision and machine learning components.
  • Testing and quality assurance of automation equipment including machine vision accuracy, machine learning performance, and overall system efficiency.
  • Client Interaction to understand their automation, machine vision, and machine learning requirements and provide technical support.
  • Maintaining documentation of automation installations, configurations, machine vision settings, and machine learning models.
  • Safety Compliance during installation, maintenance, and repair of automation systems.
