PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL-TIME EXPATRIATE ASSIGNMENT IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE) FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 TO 4 YEARS.


WHAT WE'RE DOING
Join the EADGE-T team and help modernize an integrated air and missile defense and air battle management capability for the United Arab Emirates. As part of the EADGE-T UAE Tech Refresh, you'll lead the delivery of hardware modernization and foundational cybersecurity enhancements while helping deploy the next generation of this mission-critical system.
Working alongside an international customer, you'll help deliver one of Lockheed Martin's premier international defense programs.
THE WORK
As the Engineering Project Manager (EPM), you'll lead the execution of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for delivering the UAE Tech Refresh. You'll oversee technical execution, engineering integration, schedule, and operational readiness while ensuring the successful delivery of mission capabilities from development through customer acceptance.
In this role, you'll serve as both the engineering execution lead and first-line leader, partnering with program leadership, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex capabilities on cost, on schedule, and with the highest levels of technical quality.
PLEASE NOTE
  • This position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

  • This position is a full-time expatriate assignment based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is 100% onsite.

  • This position may require travel to customer locations throughout the UAE and occasional support for overnight or weekend integration and test activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of the UAE Tech Refresh engineering effort, ensuring technical delivery, schedule performance, and operational readiness.

  • Direct cross-functional engineering activities spanning systems, software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test to achieve program objectives.

  • Oversee system integration, hardware build and configuration, factory acceptance testing, field deployment, and customer site acceptance activities.

  • Manage engineering program performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), technical metrics, and milestone tracking to ensure successful program execution.

  • Identify technical, schedule, and program risks while developing and executing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery commitments.

  • Serve as the primary engineering interface with program leadership, customers, suppliers, and certification authorities to resolve issues and support customer success.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team of approximately 15-18 employees, supporting staffing, performance management, career development, and technical excellence.
