Job description

ChenMed: Associate Market Clinical Director
Location: St. Louis, Missouri or Louisville, Kentucky

Korn Ferry has partnered with ChenMed on an Associate Market Clinical Director search supporting a growing, value-based care model focused on Medicare Advantage patients.

This is a physician leadership role combining clinical practice with operational and quality oversight across multiple primary care centers.

The Role

The Associate Market Clinical Director will partner closely with regional leadership to drive clinical excellence, provider engagement, and performance across a defined market. This role offers a blend of leadership and patient care within a fully outpatient setting.

Approximately 80% administrative and 20% clinical responsibilities
Oversight of multiple primary care centers within the market
Collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to drive quality and outcomes
Support provider development, engagement, and performance management
Lead initiatives focused on population health, access, and patient experience
Contribute to market growth and strategic planning efforts
Clinical Model

ChenMed operates within a value-based care framework focused on delivering high-touch, preventative care to an underserved senior population.

Medicare Advantage patient population
Smaller patient panels with longer visit times
Emphasis on preventative care, quality metrics, and reducing hospital utilization
Fully outpatient model with no nights, weekends, or call

Qualifications
MD or DO required
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related primary care specialty
Active or ability to obtain state medical licensure
Clinical leadership experience preferred (Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, or similar)
Interest in value-based care and population health
Strong communication and team leadership skills
