About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Computer Operations Manager to support one of our enterprise government-sector clients. This role oversees daily IT operations, manages support teams, ensures system uptime, and drives operational excellence across multiple technology environments.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for service delivery, performance monitoring, incident management, team oversight, and field-based support activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations across multiple sites.

  • Oversee system performance, uptime, and service delivery metrics.

  • Direct incident response and ensure timely escalation/resolution.

  • Supervise technical staff, provide coaching, and conduct evaluations.

  • Develop and enforce IT operational standards, best practices, and SLAs.

  • Plan and coordinate technology upgrades, deployments, and integrations.

  • Support hardware/software installations, patching, and troubleshooting.

  • Provide advanced support for network and telephony components.

  • Maintain operational documentation and ensure policy compliance.

  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or operations management role.

  • Strong background in production support, enterprise IT operations, and incident management.

  • Proven experience managing technical teams in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and multi-site operations.

  • Knowledge of network/telephony systems troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and operational standards.

Work Environment
  • Onsite only in Celebration, Florida

  • Work hours between 7 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday (standard or rotating)

  • On-call rotation required

  • Must pass a Level II background check
