Description

The Manager, Technology Operations & Enterprise Systems will support and ensure the daily functioning, stability, and ongoing development of the organization's essential technology landscape. This role provides hands-on leadership across infrastructure, enterprise systems, AI integration, and end-user support to drive operational excellence and innovation. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Technology, this position is an important part of the broader Technology Innovation team and is focused on delivering secure, high-performing, and future-ready technology solutions that align with business goals. This role plays a critical part in executing that mission by leading the implementation and optimization of core technology systems and platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the corporate network infrastructure and core enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365, AWS and other cloud and SaaS platforms, end user computing, and endpoint security  
  • Manage identity and access management platforms (Azure AD/EntraID) along with endpoint management tools
  • Oversee the customer support area and provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding enterprise systems
  • Support the Director, Corporate Technology in facilitating enterprise-wide adoption of AI technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance system reliability, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure systems are well integrated, reliable, and aligned with business needs
  • Partner with internal Finance, HR, Cybersecurity and other teams to optimize workflows and reporting
  • Drive high availability and disaster recovery readiness in the Enterprise environment
  • Partner with the Cybersecurity team on compliance, risk management, and data privacy standards
  • Help manage technology vendors and service providers relationships, contracts, renewals, and SLAs
  • Support evaluation of new solutions and negotiations for cost savings and innovation
  • Manage and coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to technology solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address system and user requirements, providing technical guidance and support
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for technological operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, cloud computing, or enterprise technology roles
  • Extensive practical experience with enterprise systems and platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and SaaS applications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders, always providing a customer service mindset

Preferred:

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in cloud or AI technologies
  • Expertise in virtual infrastructure, networks, and security
  • Previous people leadership experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting or implementing AI-driven technologies
