Position: Manager, Strategic Initiatives

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives plays a critical role in advancing high-priority enterprise initiatives by partnering closely with the Chief of Staff to drive structure, alignment, and execution. This role blends strategic project leadership with hands-on execution, owning discrete workstreams while ensuring enterprise priorities progress effectively. This role is designed for a highly analytical and self-directed professional with a background in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or a similarly rigorous environment, who thrives in ambiguity and operates effectively with limited oversight. This position is in Brentwood, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives from initial scoping through execution, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional priorities by aligning stakeholders, maintaining timelines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Translate executive-level direction into structured plans, detailed analyses, and actionable outputs (e.g., presentations, financial models, and recommendations).
  • Develop and refine materials for Board of Directors and executive leadership meetings, including presentations, briefing documents, and supporting analyses.
  • Facilitate coordination across functions to drive alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, and recommend solutions to ensure successful initiative delivery.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience required in top tier consulting, investment banking, or a similarly rigorous, analytical environment.
  • Exposure to healthcare or strong interest in the health sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, insight generation and output quality.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to build executive-ready materials and perform complex analyses.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Structured problem solver with strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Clear, concise, and effective communicator, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
