Sage Dental Management is a leading, rapidly growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) committed to innovation, excellence, and patient-centered care.
Overview
The Brand Manager, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for driving strategic, non-paid marketing initiatives that expand Sage Dental's brand presence, strengthen community relationships, and support long-term business growth. This role serves as the organization's lead for market activation outside of paid media, developing meaningful partnerships and local engagement strategies that increase brand awareness, patient acquisition, provider recruitment, and community trust. By identifying and executing scalable opportunities across new and existing markets, this individual helps establish Sage Dental as the preferred dental provider within the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic marketing initiatives, including Sage Dental Kids, SageCare+, new market launches, and other enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Manage non-paid marketing strategies for new market expansion, developing localized marketing plans that build awareness, establish community presence, and support successful practice openings.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and cross-functional stakeholder communications to ensure initiatives are executed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate all marketing deliverables, including creative development, production, translations, promotional materials, event assets, and campaign implementation.
  • Review and approve marketing materials to ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance, messaging accuracy, and overall quality assurance.
  • Monitor project performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and future strategic planning.

Partnership Development & Community Engagement
  • Lead the development, negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management of strategic partnerships that increase brand visibility, patient acquisition, provider recruitment, and community engagement.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with organizations that align with Sage Dental's strategic growth objectives.
  • Develop and oversee partnership programs including, but not limited to:
    • Corporate and employer affiliations
    • School partnerships (K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations)
    • Senior living communities and assisted living partnerships
    • Community organizations and nonprofit partnerships
    • Sports sponsorships and local community activations
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for all partnership activations, ensuring contractual deliverables, marketing assets, event support, and promotional campaigns are successfully executed.
  • Measure partnership effectiveness through defined KPIs and ROI reporting, making recommendations to optimize future investments.

Public Relations & Brand Visibility
  • Support and coordinate public relations initiatives that strengthen Sage Dental's reputation and visibility within existing and emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and external PR partners to identify media opportunities, community stories, thought leadership, and local market announcements.
  • Assist in the execution of grand openings, community events, sponsorship activations, and public-facing initiatives that reinforce Sage Dental's position as the leading dental provider in each market.

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of progressive marketing experience with emphasis on brand marketing, strategic partnerships, community marketing, or business development.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing strategic partnerships that generate measurable business results.
  • Experience supporting new market launches, brand expansion, or multi-location organizations preferred.
  • Experience working with public relations agencies and community organizations.
  • Healthcare, dental, retail healthcare, franchise, or multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
