Job description

We are looking for a Sports Performance Analyst to join our team and provide critical insights into athlete and team performance. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced data analysis techniques to evaluate athletic performance, develop strategic recommendations, and support coaching and training decisions. This position will also serve as opposition scout and will work directly with technical staff to create player facing presentations on opposition.
What You'll Do
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Gather performance data from training sessions and competitive events.
  • Develop Reports: Create comprehensive statistical reports on individual and team performance.
  • Utilize Technologies: Use advanced software and tracking technologies to measure athletic metrics.
  • Create Visual Presentations: Develop visual presentations of performance data for coaches and management.
  • Identify Trends: Spot performance trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate Strategically: Work with coaching staff to devise performance enhancement strategies.
  • Monitor Competitors: Analyze competitor performance and strategies to stay ahead.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Statistics, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
  • Proficiency in Sportscode for player, team and opposition coding.
