The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain provides strategic sourcing for a portfolio of robotic technologies and is responsible for delivering new products by enabling the right suppliers and technologies, and getting the right materials at the right cost to the right place at the right time to support our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions. It is a fast-paced operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon and is driven by data and metrics.
We are seeking a Robotics Supply Chain GA Product Manager to tackle the most critical, technologically advanced products at Amazon. The Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of robotic products in sustained production and accountable for supplier and supply chain performance, product cost and lead time optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. They manage their products from initial production scaling through end of life. They work with senior product and engineering leaders to drive appropriate trade-offs between commercial vs. technical constraints, risks and goals. Within the robotic product they lead, they must be able to drive the multiple advanced technologies and commodities, driving execution excellence and cost performance in production.
The RSC Supply Chain GA Product Manager is a trusted subject matter expert, consulted by teams above and below. They clearly communicate with direct and indirect stakeholders, advocating for commercial opportunities at the Director level and above. They contribute to strategic documents for aligning goals with cross-functional teams, own reporting on forecasting and planning the business impact of each opportunity, and regularly report on the status and impact of their contributions. Their impact is measurable via quantifiable metrics, and they have the ability to deeply influence measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for strong business owners who can Think Big, Deliver Results, and leaders who are ready to make long lasting impact to Amazon Robotics technologies. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where delivery time for improvements and cost optimization is typically measured in months. The leader will have a proven background in Robotics automation, global supplier management and supply chain operations in the production and sustained deployment of advanced technology. The successful candidate for this position will be experienced working with cross-functional leaders from product, engineering, manufacturing, and field operations. They are self-managing, have a high sense of urgency and driven to achieve operational excellence and cost targets. They will be a highly visible leader that will own the communication, coordination execution, and delivery of a multi-year program vision.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead product supply chain management working with cross-functional supply chain teams dedicated to supplier performance, cost and lead time optimization, supply chain execution, and continuous improvement for assigned robotics products in production.
- Act as single point of contact for program resources (leadership and working teams) to communicate Supply Chain decisions and progress, provide feedback on supply chain implications of program decisions and changes, and support financial planning and capital approvals for the program.
- Work with Robotics leadership to ensure partnership between Robotics Supply Chain, hardware engineering, operations and program teams on commodity and supplier performance, cost performance tradeoff analysis, cost road map development and execution, and driving execution excellence across scaled deployment.
- Responsible for definition and execution of the Product level Supply Chain Strategy, including management of critical components and suppliers, product cost roadmap to meet payback targets, capacity planning and sourcing requirements, supply chain risk assessment & mitigation plans.
- Work with sourcing in developing negotiation strategies for categories which impact the product to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers pertaining to Amazon Robotics products supporting the priority programs as driven by the Operating Plan (OP).
- Work with GCMs on managing overall supplier relationships including supplier performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost and quality improvements.
- Develop and execute roadmap to achieving GA total cost targets (TCO), including make vs. buy analysis and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure non-cost goals (Lead Time, On Time Delivery, Sustainability, Supplier Development, Cost Savings) are met and supported by the product specific supply chain strategy.
- Drive root cause analysis and process improvements to prevent supply chain disruptions and ensure sustained operational excellence.
- 20-25% travel is required.

About the team
The GA Supply Chain Product Management team manages supply chain strategies for FTR products from initial production scaling, through sustained operations and deployment and end of life. As the central integration point providing the source of truth for product cost, lead time and performance across FTR's GA portfolio, we drive operational excellence and comprehensive supplier readiness oversight.
Our vision establishes scalable, cost-effective solutions leveraging AI-driven insights to exceed performance targets. Our mission encompasses end-to-end supply chain execution through data-driven decisions, comprehensive cost optimization frameworks, regional manufacturing strategies, and cross-functional integration with Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, AMQE, and Planning. We maintain accountability for product cost targets, supplier performance metrics, and operational milestones while optimizing total landed cost and operational efficiency across FTR's portfolio.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of negotiations/cost savings, supplier excellence, and risk mitigation experience
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering
- Deep knowledge in both NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustained operations supply chain management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
