CIM SYSTEMS Robotic Solutions, a division of Kirby Risk Corporation, specializes in designing and delivering innovative automation solutions using ABB and FANUC robotics that drive efficiency, consistency, and measurable value for our industrial customers.


What You’ll Do as a Project Manager - Robotics

Acts as the primary liaison for customers, vendors, and internal teams, leading endtoend project coordination to deliver safe, timely results through proactive communication, risk management, and stakeholder alignment

You’ll:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of robotics and automation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and technical requirements
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, including internal meetings, vendor coordination, and technical demonstrations (vision systems, sensors, robotics, etc.)
  • Develop final system designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support accurate procurement and build readiness
  • Coordinate pricing, procurement, and material delivery to support on-time and cost-controlled execution
  • Guide cross-functional teams through system build, wiring, assembly, runoff/testing to ensure adherence to design and quality standards
  • Track project milestones, schedules, and budgets; proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Plan and coordinate onsite installations, aligning customer schedules, vendors, and internal resources to minimize downtime and risk
  • Verify system performance, conduct customer training, and ensure solutions operate as designed and specified
  • Support lifecycle customer engagement by addressing performance issues and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • College level coursework and/or 4+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of robotics, automation systems, and industrial integration practices
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical designs, system layouts, and technical documentation
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
  • Strong written & verbal communication, interpersonal and customer contact skills
  • Diligent project scope understanding and kick off meeting management
  • Experience with vision systems, sensors, and advanced automation technologies is a plus

What to Expect in This Role

  • Ability to push, pull, carry, lift up to 50lbs
  • Walk customer workspace (warehouse, plant, production floor, job site)
  • Use hands repetitively to operate, finger, handle or feel standard equipment while engaged in work activities
  • Ability to differentiate colors, sounds, and pitches
  • Maintains strong situational awareness, with the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changing environments and conditions
  • Participation in ongoing development training
  • Traveling for customer visits for one week, approximately every 6 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
