Job description

The Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation (RDPI) team owns the design and build of Robotics technologies and deployment of those technologies into fulfillment operations.
The RDPI finance team is seeking an analytical and driven finance leader to support the Global Robotics Delivery team, which is responsible for the deployment of Robotics technologies to Amazon's Operations. This position will partner with business teams to design and implement solutions to scale the program across new platforms, networks, and products, while ensuring the financial controls are in place to measure the end-to-end impact on Amazon's cost to serve.


When not dedicated to forecasting or monthly financial reporting activities, this role spends their time looking for opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, financial controls, data quality, and cost modeling. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys influencing both strategy and tactical execution and has a passion for innovation and scale.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent will need excellent communication skills, strong ownership, and the ability to work with complex data sets to build financial analyses that will be used to inform RDPI's strategy and drive engagement across cross-functional stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Partnering with senior leaders in Amazon Robotics.
- Build and maintain gearing ratio models which dictate resourcing plan for Robotics Delivery
- Driving the core financial processes for the business including Annual Operating Plans, 3 year Strategic Plan, Long Range Plan and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Completing cost / benefit analyses and communicate key drivers / inputs to support business decisions.
- Performing financial reporting, deep project analyses, and financial modeling.
- Facilitating financial review meetings with business groups and working with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
- Creating, improving, and maintaining financial metrics, reports and scorecards.
- Communicating financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders.
