About the Role
We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Project Manager to support Rula's Revenue Cycle and payer expansion initiatives through structured project management and data-driven process design. This person will own post-launch performance monitoring and optimization. As an individual contributor, you will work cross-functionally to diagnose issues, improve workflows, and build scalable systems that strengthen collection performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic problem-solving with detailed operational execution in a fast-moving and scaling healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of diverse revenue cycle management experience - verification of benefits, Insurance AR, and/or payment posting
  • 3+ years of experience in management or strategy consulting, leading end-to-end transformation (process, technology, and people)
  • Proven ability to design and scale processes, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, AMD, payer portals (e.g., Availity), etc. to drive optimization
  • Expertise applying structure, prioritization and effective communication to solve problems not just for the current state, but also predict future need
  • Proficiency utilizing Excel/GSheets, with an ability to create pivot tables, basic visualizations, VLOOKUPS, etc. to build, interpret, and act on complex datasets autonomously to tell accurate stories and drive business decisions
  • Familiarity with writing deliverables (e.g. technical requirements, experiment results, strategy documents) that are concise and clear for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in startup and/or fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with diverse insurance billing types (commercial, EAP, Medicare / Medicaid, etc.)

  • Proven track record managing AR performance, collections, or cash flow in a high-volume environment
