Job Title: Restaurant Accounting Expert 

Location: On-Site
 

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Accounting Expert to join our team on-site and support our accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience using R365 who understands restaurant or hospitality accounting workflows. The ideal candidate will help ensure accurate financial reporting, streamline processes, and support the accounting team with system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records within Restaurant365 (R365)

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close

  • Generate and analyze financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

  • Maintain and improve the chart of accounts and accounting workflows

  • Troubleshoot R365 issues and optimize system usage

  • Support integrations between R365, POS systems, payroll, and banking

  • Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience using Restaurant365 (R365) in an accounting role

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Experience with restaurant or hospitality accounting

  • Proficiency in bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end close

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience working with multi-location restaurant groups

  • Familiarity with POS integrations and inventory management within R365

  • Accounting, finance, or bookkeeping background
