Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 - $188,100.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 15 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details

As Manager, Program Management, you will lead the execution and governance of enterprise Corporate Programs (e.g., Travel, Fleet, Driver Reimbursement, and related policies and suppliers) as part of Grainger's Indirect Procurement organization. You will be responsible for ensuring programs operate consistently, scale effectively, and align to enterprise priorities including governance, compliance, and user experience. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Sales and KeepStock) to translate business requirements into structured program strategies, policies, and roadmaps.

This role includes direct management of team members responsible for day-to-day program execution. 

You will report to the Senior Manager, Procurement.

This is a hybrid position that is based onsite in Lake Forest or Chicago 2 days a week.


You Will

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for daytoday execution of enterprise Corporate Programs, ensuring consistent, compliant, and scalable delivery
  • Manage execution and ongoing administration of enterprise Corporate Programs, supporting alignment of policies, governance, and operations to business priorities and risk requirements
  • Translate business needs into structured program strategies and multiyear roadmaps that balance cost, risk, and operational effectiveness
  • Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Sales, KeepStock) to support adoption, resolve issues, and align on program outcomes
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring strong service delivery, contract adherence, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain program policies, processes, documentation, and governance frameworks that enable consistency, resiliency, and scalability
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology enhancements to increase efficiency, visibility, and program performance
  • Use data and insights to inform decisionmaking, recommend program enhancements, and drive measurable business value

You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience business, operations, project management, human resources or related field required
  • 5+ years Experience in program management, procurement, operations or related function required
  • 3+ years experience managing team members, suppliers, enterprise programs, policies, or cross-functional governance processes strongly preferred
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions within a matrixed environment.
  • Experience using data, metrics, and performance analysis to support program management activities and operational improvements
  • Experience applying analytical, problem-solving, and project management practices in a business environment.
  • Knowledge of developing policies, processes and governance structures
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and support alignment among stakeholders
