Job Description

ABOUT US

At HUB International, we are a team of entrepreneurs. We believe in protecting and supporting the aspirations of individuals, families, and businesses. We help our clients evaluate their risks and develop solutions tailored to their needs. We believe in empowering our employees to learn, grow, and make a difference. Our structure enables our teams to maintain their own unique, regional culture while leveraging support and resources from our corporate centers of excellence.

HUB is a global insurance and employee benefits broker, providing a boundaryless array of business insurance, employee benefits, risk services, personal insurance, retirement, and private wealth management products and services. With over $5 billion in revenue and almost 20,000 employees in 600 offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions

About the Role

HUB International's Technology and Operations Delivery PMO is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to lead the program management function within the TechOps PMO. In this role, you will manage a team of program managers, lead programs personally based on delivery need and complexity, and contribute to the maturation of PMO program management standards.

You will own the PMO's relationship with the Security technology team, serving as a delivery partner and engaging in Security programs as they arise. Security background is not required, but familiarity with security technology delivery - or the ability to build credibility quickly in that environment - will set you up for success.

The TechOps PMO delivers enterprise project & program governance and cross-functional execution for technology initiatives across HUB. In this role, you will work closely alongside peer Senior Managers across project management and business analysis disciplines to drive delivery that is consistent, credible, and well-governed.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and support a small team of program managers, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback aligned to PMO standards and individual growth

  • Build a high-trust team environment grounded in accountability, service orientation, and delivery excellence

  • Manage workload distribution across the team, ensuring capacity is aligned to program demand

  • Partner with the Director, TechOps PMO on team planning, hiring, and capability development

Program Delivery

  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs assigned based on delivery need and priority - spanning technology teams across Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Security, and transformational initiatives

  • Manage programs end-to-end from initiation through close, owning scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication

  • Serve as a senior delivery partner to the Security technology team - managing the PMO's relationship with Security leadership and engaging in Security programs as they arise

  • Maintain clear program visibility and proactively surface delivery risks, decisions, and status to TechOps and executive stakeholders

Program Management Standards

  • Own and evolve program management standards within the PMO, ensuring frameworks and practices reflect the complexity and scale of the programs your team delivers

  • Partner with your team of program managers to refine and improve standards iteratively - grounding them in practitioner experience rather than theory

  • Collaborate with PM Senior Managers and the BA function to ensure delivery standards are coherent and consistently applied across the PMO

  • Contribute to OnePlan governance and delivery tooling as they relate to program delivery

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience in a complex, enterprise technology environment

  • 3+ years in a people leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate delivery professionals

  • Track record of managing multi-workstream programs with executive visibility and high stakeholder complexity

  • Experience contributing to or evolving delivery standards, governance frameworks, or program management practices within a PMO or delivery organization

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the presence to engage confidently with senior leaders and the credibility to influence without authority

  • Service mindset - you lead by removing obstacles, not creating them, and you measure your success by the success of the people around you

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and navigating a maturing delivery environment

  • Experience delivering in a Security technology environment is strongly preferred - deep domain expertise is not required, but the ability to build credibility quickly with security stakeholders is essential

JOIN OUR TEAM

Do you believe in the power of innovation, collaboration, and transformation? Do you thrive in a supportive and client focused work environment? Are you looking for an opportunity to help build and drive change in a rapidly growing and evolving organization?
